“Bear, His Quilt, and Everything Else” is a senior year thesis short film made and produced at the School of Visual Arts. The story follows a shopaholic teddy bear who realizes his habits may be getting out of control. I wrote the film as an exploration of materialism and existentialist philosophy, with aesthetics inspired by all-American 50’s and 60’s design styles as the backdrop.
In addition to writing and directing the film, I was responsible for visual development, previs, rigging, animation, graphic design, compositing, lighting, and texturing. Special shoutout to my amazing thesis partner Sabrina Joa!
